Networking Infrastructure Upgrade

Aug 15, 2026, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Maintenance

Starting Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 7am, UK ITS Networking & Infrastructure will be conducting technical maintenance on network infrastructure impacting UK campus buildings. Maintenance Window: Saturday, August 15: 7am - 5pm (rolling outage)Details: During the maintenance window, UK ITS Networking & Infrastructure will be working to upgrade network infrastructure with approximately 30 minutes of wired and wireless networking downtime at all impacted locations.

Pop-up Wi-Fi help Desk for Fall Semester

Starting August 17 through August 28, UK Information Technology Services (UK ITS) will be available at The 90 and the Gatton Student Center for Wi-Fi help. Due to a slight change in the certification process, students who connected to the eduroam network before mid-June may experience issues. In order to help students get reconnected, UK ITS will have staff available for technical assistance during the two-week period below. All students are welcome to come at any time, no appointment needed!
