Use these tips to help spot and report phishing attempts. Phishing is a cybercrime that impersonates trusted organizations by using emails, texts or fake websites to steal sensitive information.

UK ITS completes major upgrade of university’s E911 system

Recently, University of Kentucky Information Technology Services (UK ITS), in partnership with UKPD, completed a major upgrade of the university’s E911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) system. This system, crucial to emergency response operations across campus, comprises critical infrastructure that allows UKPD to receive and manage responses to 911 calls.

UK ITS reminds UK community to upgrade to Windows 11 today

Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After that date, no further security updates, bug fixes or technical support will be available. Continuing to use it could put university data, personal files and systems at risk.
