Apple Releases Security Updates

Apple has released security updates to address vulnerabilities—CVE-2022-22674 and CVE-2022-22675—in multiple products. An attacker could exploit one of these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected device. These vulnerabilities have been detected in exploits in the wild. CISA encourages users and administrators to review the security update page for the following products and apply the necessary updates as soon as possible:

Heath Price Co-Writes Article on UK Esports

Associate CIO Heath Price is a co-author in "Getting in the eGame: Esports Streaming Gives the University of Kentucky a New Way to Grow Revenue and Recruit Students" published by the Society for College and University Planning. Drupal has released security updates to address a vulnerability affecting Drupal 9.2 and 9.3. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to take control of an affected system. CISA encourages users and administrators to review Drupal Security Advisory SA-CORE-006 and apply the necessary update.

Google has released Chrome version 99.0.4844.74 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. This version addresses vulnerabilities that an attacker could exploit to take control of an affected system.     CISA encourages users and administrators to review the Chrome Release Note and apply the necessary updates.

Reminder on Appropriate Use of Technology Resources at UK

UK Information Technology Services (ITS) would like to remind UK students, faculty, and staff of Administrative Regulation 10:1 (AR 10:1) regarding use of technology resources.
