[RESOLVED] Krames Outage at UKHC, UKKD, UKSC, RRH 7/1/26 1:00 p.m.

This issue has now been resolved.

Krames, the patient education application, is currently down at UKHC, UKKD, UKSC, and RRH. Our technical and operational teams are actively working with Krames support to resolve the issue and minimize impact to patient care and clinical operations.  

In the meantime, for those who use Krames, please see below for guidance on implementing downtime procedures until the system is back up and running.  

We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and partnership during this critical go-live period. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing safe, high-quality patient care. 

 

Krames Downtime Process:
1. Launch the website https://www.kramesondemand.com/Login.aspx
2. Use the ukhc/pted/pted login:

Ignite On Demand


3. Print two copies - one for the chart and one for the patient.

[RESOLVED] 6/29/26 4:30 p.m. - BlueFin Payment System at UK Retail Pharmacies

Previous issues with the BlueFin, the payment-processing solution used in retail pharmacies at UK HealthCare, UK King's Daughters and UK St. Claire have been resolved.

UK ITS is aware of issues with the BlueFin, the payment-processing solution used in retail pharmacies at UK HealthCare, UK King's Daughters and UK St. Claire. 

Services Impacted: Credit card payments for outpatient/retail pharmacy point-of-sale (POS) transactions at retail pharmacies

Locations: UK HealthCare, UK King's Daughters and UK St. Claire

At this time, patients at UK King's Daughters and UK St. Claire are recommended to use cash for payment. Patients at UK HealthCare can be charged via myChart payments and billed at a later time.

UK ITS is engaged with BlueFin and will post updates as they are available.

6/22/26 12:00 p.m. - eduroam certificate issues

On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, UK ITS updated security certificates for the eduroam wireless network across campus and UK HealthCare. Some wireless devices, particularly MacBooks/MacOS, iPhones/iOS, and Android, require a certificate refresh on the local device to reconnect to eduroam. 

Key steps are outlined below to assist.

MacOS 


Settings > General > Device management > Delete UKeduroam cert (requires local admin)

Then, to reconnect:

Settings > Wi-Fi > click connect on eduroam 

Don't select a certificate in auth window pop up:

    Username: <linkblueID>@uky.edu

    Password: linkblue Password

Continue/trust new certificate 

 

iOS 
 

Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > Delete UKeduroamcert.  

Settings > Wi-Fi > select eduroam 
     Username: <linkblueID>@uky.edu

     Password: linkblue Password

Select “Trust” on the new certificate. 

 

Android

Follow the steps at How Do I Connect to eduroam on an Android Device?
