DMARC Email Quarantine
Starting Monday, March 11, UK ITS will be enforcing the Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance (DMARC) protocol.
What does this mean?
Any emails sent to UK email inboxes that do not follow the criteria required by DMARC will go into quarantine. For more information on what happens to quarantined messages, see How do I access emails that have been quarantined?
What is DMARC?
DMARC is an email authentication, policy, and reporting protocol that affects all mass mailing, hosted third-party or vendor applications, or mail servers used to send mail as the University (e.g. uky.edu).
More information on DMARC implementation at UK can be found at its.uky.edu/DMARC.
