K-12 Partnership Program
Information Technology Services' K-12 Partnership Program seeks to actively support and benefit students from across the state of Kentucky. ITS hopes by providing engagement opportunities for students and faculty, that we can promote interest in IT careers and degrees.

Competition Judge
Provide feedback & advice at the culmination of a project.
Teacher Shadowing
Bring real-world application to the classroom by having an IT professional spend a day in the classroom.
Career Day Booth
Provide an interactive display at Career Day &/or Fairs.
Teacher Externships
Help teachers stay current & learn practical applications for what they teach. Host a team of teachers for 2-3 days at our offices. Areas available:

Job Shadowing
- Allows students to shadow 1-2 days in a career field of their choice:

Field Trips
Allows students to explore multiple areas of IT in an up-close environment in half-day or full-day tours (35 students max).
Project Mentors
IT professionals are available to meet regularly over the course of a project with an individual or small group of students.
Certification Exam Mentor
Mentor students taking exams in specific area of ITS expertise.
Career Mentors
We can meet regularly over the course of the year with a small group of students, helping them explore & learn about IT career fields.
Hosting an Intern
Provide a learning experience for a student within our world, to allow them to see & participate in our industry.
Advisory Board
Provide certification and curriculum advice by recommending industry certifications & help edit curriculum to meet industry standards; while also providing practical advice on what future employers are looking for.
