UK CyberCon 2022
UK Information Technology Services (UK ITS) will be hosting the first UK CyberCon event on Thursday, October 27 from 3:30pm - 7:30pm at The Cornerstone as a part of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. All UK students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend!
Join us at The Cornerstone for:
- 3:30pm - 4:30pm: Guest speaker Supervisory Special Agent Stephen Oakes from the FBI will be speaking on topics including internet safety, protecting your online identity (over sharing), how to not fall victim to phishing scams, and lastly, careers in law enforcement related to cybersecurity.
- 4:40pm - 7:30pm: Red vs Blue gaming in the Esports lounge. Play an educational game-based cybersecurity simulator designed for those with genuine interest in cybersecurity. Learn and practice cybersecurity concepts & strategy, play as the red team (hackers) or the blue team (defenders).

- Food & prizes
- Opportunity to talk with UK ITS's Cybersecurity team
