University of Kentucky Information Technology Services (UK ITS) is excited to announce the launch of the new myUK portal on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. 

Currently, UK employees have access to Employee Public Preview at preview.myuk.uky.edu.

This preview allows employees with active linkblue accounts to get early access to functions, including requesting and approving time off and enrolling in benefits, inside a newly designed portal.

After nearly two years of collaboration among UK HealthCare and UK Information Technology Services (UK ITS) teams, Epic now features an integration that automates IV pump dosages and monitors documentation once manually programed by nurses.

Since going live on December 9, 2025, Epic — the electronic health record at UK HealthCare — now allows for medication dosage orders to be sent directly to pumps and automates, documents and monitors changes in medications, dosages, fluid volumes and timestamps.

In addition to bolstering safety by helping decrease and prevent programming errors, this IV pump technology is also reducing hours nurses spend annually manually programing pumps and providing more accurate medical record documentation.

New Visage 7 PACS application enhances imaging across UK HealthCare

On December 8, UK HealthCare implemented Visage 7 PACS, the radiology cloud-based Picture Archive Communication System. This upgrade replaces the legacy PACS system — providing significant imaging improvements for clinicians, radiologists and patients across the UK HealthCare system.
