Student Media Depot employee, Moses Botaka, was asked to speak to at STEM night at Carter G. Woodson Academy on April 13.  Moses tabled at their STEM Night event to talk about media, show off some equipment and talk about working at the Media Depot.



Moses demonstrated a Canon R6 camera on a DJI Gimbal for the students, showing how you can connect the gimbal to a phone to control it. Moses gave away swag from The Cornerstone and Student Media Depot.  



The Carter G. Woodson Academy, located in Lexington, is committed to advanced and rigorous curriculum through the lens of African-American history, culture, and culturally responsive teaching and learning strategies. Serving at-promise males in grades 6-12, Carter G. Woodson aims to prepare students for college and careers upon graduation.
