ITS Receives Two Communication Awards

Information Technology Services (ITS) has won two “Best of Category” Awards in the 2021-22 Communication Awards from the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group on University and College Computing Services (SIGUCCS). Awards were earned in “Computing Services Website” and “Student Created Materials”. 

“Best of Category” in Computing Services Website went to the Tech Help Center (techhelpcenter.uky.edu), UK’s online one-stop-shop for knowledge articles, Training Resource Center, tech-related policies, recommendations, standards, Self Service Feature, and more. 

“Best of Category” in Student Created Materials went to ITS student worker and Digital Media Design major, Harry Min, for his animated short video Quickstart Guide: Connect to eduroam.  

“I am so honored to see recognition of the Tech Help Center. It is a project that has involved collaboration from many teams across ITS and has been such a great asset to ITS communication and customer service efforts,” commented Marci Adams, Strategic Engagement Lead in ITS. “I am also so proud of Harry. He deserves recognition for his creative work!”
