What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

We provide integrations between systems, which means we build processes that move data to places where it can be useful.  That can be to another system on campus or to a cloud service we utilize.  I’d say 80% of my projects are either cloud to on-premises or vice-versa, with the rest usually being strictly on-premises.  

What campus units do you collaborate with?

Pretty much anyone that needs two systems to talk to each other.  My current big project is an integration with Salesforce, which will be used by many departments.  I also have projects going with Athletics, the Stuckert Career Center, and Barnes & Noble in the Student Center. 

What are your workplace values?

I try to inject a little fun into everything I do.  It’s good to take your work seriously, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a sense of humor while you do it.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

The people here are amazing.  Everyone I work with is very friendly and good at their jobs. They really care about helping the students.  What’s not to like about that?
