What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

My team, Advanced Analytics, provide useful and meaningful data across the campus. We help people across multiple departments to access data easily and make executive decisions appropriately. I also work on projects where we need to bring in data from third party database systems to HANA via integration jobs. Once the data is in HANA, we build data models and transform the data as necessary to do analytics on them to help make strategic decisions.

What campus units do you collaborate with?

I work mostly with anyone who wants to bring the data that resides in their local database to HANA. We help them by building data models which has cleaner data and also give them the ability to join with our other existing data models, thus providing contextual information to their data.

What are your workplace values?

Learning and Sharing. I love to challenge myself with every project that I do to learn and do something new that I have not tried before. If I am able to achieve something new, I love to share with our team the new ideas and solutions that I came up with and discover alternate options for the same.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

ITS team itself. Everything about this group is inspirational. They are so considerate both professionally and personally to accommodate one’s needs and requirements. ITS is the best thing that has happened to me in Kentucky. It is so good to be part of this team and group.
