Employee and manager functions now available through the myUK portal mobile experience
University of Kentucky employees and managers will no longer access employee and manager self-service functions through the myUK mobile app.
Instead, these functions are now available through the myUK portal using a web browser on your computer or mobile phone.
The transition supports the modernization of myUK and the SAP S/4 platform, which includes a mobile-responsive design that makes it easy to complete tasks from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Employees can use their preferred web browser to access the same functions previously available in the app, without downloading additional software.
Common employee and manager functions, including submitting leave requests, entering or approving time and completing other SAP-related tasks, can be accessed by logging in to the myUK portal and selecting the appropriate SAP application. To access employee and manager functions:
- Open a web browser on your mobile device or computer.
- Visit the myUK portal.
- Sign in with your linkblue account.
- Search for the function you need (e.g., enter time) or click from your pinned items. (See How to Pin a Favorite in myUK for more).
The new portal experience is designed to provide easy navigation, enhanced security and centralized access to SAP functions UK employees use every day.
