ITS Adds Technology Training Center and Policy Page to Tech Help Center

University of Kentucky Information Technology Services (ITS) has launched two new features in the Tech Help Center with the addition of the Technology Training Center and the Polices, Recommendations, and Standards page. 

The Technology Training Center is a one-stop-shop for technology training resources. If you are looking for free training opportunities on classroom technology, cybersecurity or various other technology topics, the Technology Training Center has a list of online resources for you. This new feature showcases trainings from resources at UK and external vendors as well. 

The Policies, Recommendations, and Standards page provides an up-to-date list of UK’s current Information Technology Policies for computing assets. Policies such as the Information Security Policy, Servers and Enterprise Applications Security Standard, and Public Internet Access and Remote Access Policy (Public IP and RDP) are a few of the resources available for review. This page is essential for all students, faculty and staff to be familiar with the policies regarding technology at UK.
