What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

We provide network infrastructure to everyone under the University of Kentucky. This includes cabling, network equipment, wireless access points, VOIP phones, all the way down to analog lines for fax and credit card machines. Whether you’re sending an email over campus wifi or need to contact a colleague at one of our off site locations, we make sure everyone is able to stay connected.

What campus units do you collaborate with?

We collaborate with almost every UK department. Whether you are a doctor who needs access to new research or a student trying to get in touch with a professor, everyone needs access to the internet!

What are your workplace values?

I believe communication and taking initiative are what makes a work place environment productive. I am thankful to work with a team that excels in both.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

My favorite parts of working in ITS at UK are being able to work along side such an amazing group of people and also the sense of being part of something bigger than just yourself. Being apart of UK gives me the feeling of being apart of a huge family, and being able to work as part of a team with so many amazing and smart people makes me thankful to be here.
