What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

Our team provides support for HR related issues which can include development of new functionality, create interfaces for data with Benefits vendors, support master data in the system (people data, position data, benefits data, training data, performance evaluations), etc. 

What campus units do you collaborate with?

We collaborate with all campus/UKHC units if or when there is an issue, or a request for additional functionality. 

What are your workplace values?

My workplace values center on service.  If employees aren’t able to complete their HR work in the system, it’s our job to figure out why and provide a solution.  Sometimes this means working with units within and outside of ITS to be able to determine the cause and the solution.  Creating and maintaining good working relationships allow me to provide the service our customers deserve. 

 

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

Helping people, whether that person is sitting next door or across campus.  I especially like being about to train people so they can do as much in the system as they’re allowed, so they don’t have to depend on someone else in order to complete their work.
