What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

The Materials Management Team designs, delivers, configures, and supports procurement and inventory solutions for the UK enterprise. This covers everything the University needs to buy and store—everything is procured and managed through Materials Management supported systems. For example, with UK HealthCare medical supplies and equipment, supply chain staff utilize delivered systems that are available to them 24/7, and our team manages those systems. The same goes for facilities building materials and campus research supplies. 

What campus units do you collaborate with?

We work with the University’s Procurement Office, as well as the HealthCare & Facilities Supply Chain.

What are your workplace values?

The most important thing is understanding the sense of urgency and the need for ‘round-the-clock support.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

I’ve worked for UK for 33 years. I enjoy the challenge and the thrill of new opportunities. I’ve had six different positions, all supporting materials management and procurement.
