Service Area: Directories, Messaging, & Collaboration

What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

I work with the Directories, Messaging, & Collaboration team as a part of the Enterprise Systems division. I help administer all the email groups, mailboxes, calendars, Active Directory, etc. in Microsoft for our customers across the University.  I also work with Google for Gmail accounts and I am an administrator for the Listserv server.

What campus units do you collaborate with?

I have been with ITS for 25 years working in several different compacities.   Throughout my career, I have worked with almost all the departments in one way or another.

What are your workplace values?

I want to treat co-workers and customers with respect and work to solve any problems that I have been tasked with completing.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

I love UK. My sister, my dad, and I all graduated from UK. My dad is in UK Hall of Fame and my uncle coached football here. As a child, I thought we owned an official UK vehicle because it was always at our house. I grew up running around campus and the state of KY with my dad.

I love the direction ITS is going, it makes me wish sometimes that I was 44, not 64!
