Describe what you do at ITS in one sentence:
I lead the Cloud team at UK Healthcare, overseeing the management and optimization of our cloud environments.

Name something about the work you or your team does that you are most proud of:
I'm particularly proud of my team's ability to support both large and small projects through our expertise in cloud technology. We consistently devise innovative solutions that address complex challenges, and these solutions have proven successful. Looking ahead, we anticipate that the cloud will play a crucial role in onboarding other healthcare organizations to UK Healthcare's Epic Systems, especially those lacking the infrastructure or staff to manage their own Epic systems. The advancements in cloud technology are truly exciting, and I'm glad that we get to dive into these opportunities!

What is something you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I take on the role of a Ghostbuster! I volunteer with the Western Kentucky Ghostbusters, donning costumes to participate in events and conventions that raise funds for the UK Children's Hospital. Every Halloween, we visit the kids in the hospital in costume for a reverse trick-or-treat. We also deliver the donations we've collected throughout the year. Additionally, I volunteer with Cosplay for a Cause Foundation, where I cosplay as characters like Ant-Man, a Jedi, and Mario. This organization supports various charities and local communities, and I’m thrilled to contribute to such meaningful causes through my cosplay efforts.

Best advice you ever received?
Everything eventually comes to an end. While this may sound bleak, constantly fixating on when or if something will end only prevents you from fully enjoying the present moment. Instead, focus on immersing yourself in the experience you're worried about. By staying present and appreciating the moment, you might find that your worries become less overwhelming.
