What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

We manage the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system. This includes configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis, protecting the SAP data and applications from unauthorized use and access. We also support SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL Server databases, as well as manage the software that interacts with SAP:  Tableau, BSI Tax Factory, Student Financial Aid (ProSAM), etc.

What campus units do you collaborate with?

While we interact primarily with the ITS Enterprise Applications and the Systems Operations groups, we also support every other unit on campus, including HealthCare. In addition, we provide a good deal of assistance directly to students and employees. 

What are your workplace values?

In all aspects of my being, I try to incorporate integrity and empathy into my actions in order to add value to the projects I undertake.  In providing solutions to IT problems, this helps to serve our customers and our department well.  Also, I like to work hard, and I am strongly goal oriented.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

I derive much satisfaction from effective problem-solving, knowing that I have done my best.
