UK ITS Enterprise Cybersecurity team discusses upcoming UK_CYBERCON 24 on TechKnow podcast

On episode three of TechKnow, University of Kentucky Information Technology Services Enterprise Cybersecurity team discusses what attendees can expect at the third annual UK_CYBERCON. The one-day event will take place on Wednesday, October 9 and is open to the public. This year sessions will offer something for everyone from basic cybersecurity awareness to networking with cybersecurity professionals. The first 200 attendees at UK_CYBERCON will receive a free 1Password account for a year. 

Jenn Edwards, a member of the enterprise cybersecurity team, and Michael P. Sheron, director of privacy and governance risk & compliance explain simple cybersecurity habits that can help everyone and importance of cybersecurity. 

Later in the episode, Taha Al-jumaily, a cybersecurity engineer, and Ayah Abdeldayem, a cybersecurity analyst assistant, discuss cybersecurity careers and skills that cybersecurity engineers look for in potential employees.
