Classic myUK portal will reach end of life on July 16 Support ending for Student Services, Student Administration and Faculty Services apps in classic myUK on May 12

In January of 2026, University of Kentucky launched a new, modernized myUK portal as the entry point for many SAP modules and applications.

As a follow up to this launch, applications will no longer be supported in the legacy, or classic, portal at classicmyuk.uky.edu.

On May 12, 2026, all Student Services, Student Administration and Faculty Services apps will no longer be accessible via the legacy portal.

These changes are part of   the effort to modernize the myUK portal.

What does this mean for users of Student Services, Student Administration and Faculty Services apps?

Users will be able to access these apps, including but not limited to Degree Planning and Course Registration, and the Advising Hub, via the new myUK portal (myuk.uky.edu).

These apps will no longer be accessible in the classic portal after May 12, 2026.

Why is this happening?

As part of the SAP S/4 HANA modernization and cloud migration (Project RISE), scheduled to launch in July 2026, the legacy myUK portal will be retired on July 16. To prepare for this transition, all SAP users should begin using the new myUK portal as the primary entry point for all SAP modules and applications.  Read more at https://its.uky.edu/projectRISE.
