What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

We support procurement and financial needs for our ITS department, but we also collaborate with other areas when they're financially involved with a project with us. Every year, we renew software licenses for employees and students, and this involves the whole University (including HealthCare). We also help colleges across the University with their billing reconciliations from IT Service Center projects. 

What campus units do you collaborate with?

All of them, because there are so many areas we cover. We are a service-based unit and our technology services often involve multiple sources of funding.  

What are your workplace values?

Excellent customer service, both internally and externally. I want my team to feel proud that they are contributing to our department and the University's success. I strive for my team to feel happy to be here. I also value integrity, commitment, and reliability.  

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

The people that I work with come from very different areas and backgrounds. We have technical-minded people, as well as the more creative types. It's a very diverse group and we learn something new every day. Also, it is very rewarding to be part of an institution that helps students to accomplish a degree that will enable them to have a better life and contribute in their communities in a positive way.
