What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

Our team supports the financial modules of SAP enterprise application software.  We provide functional expertise, development and coordination of financial interfaces, and software development and maintenance.  I support and develop applications related to faculty data including the Faculty Effort System, Effort Planning System, and the Faculty Database.  I also support data integration with hosted systems including ecrt (grant payroll confirmation) and Digital Measures (faculty activities database).

What campus units do you collaborate with?

Research Financial Services, the Office of Faculty Advancement, Institutional Research and Advanced Analytics, colleges and academic units.   

What are your workplace values?

I strive to be respectful, helpful, and dependable to customers and colleagues as well as a good communicator.  From a developer perspective-- to be attentive to detail, to be thorough when gathering requirements and researching the best solution, and to deliver a quality product.   

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

My job!  I love learning a business process and designing an application to support it, especially when the end result makes life easier for the customer and improves data quality for the institution.  ITS and UK provide a great environment for creativity, collaboration and the opportunity to learn.
