What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

We build software for students, faculty, and staff and strive to make interacting with the University from a browser or a device simple.

Most recently I've contributed to Tagger, our iPad-based platform that allows students to check-in to things like K-Week events, tutoring sessions, and workshops across campus. I'm also continuing work on enhancements to myUKGPS, our degree planning and registration system.

What campus units do you collaborate with?

We have technology partners across campus and have had the opportunity to work closely with advisors and the folks in Enrollment Management to build many of our student-facing systems.

What are your workplace values?

Don't be afraid to learn something new or to extend your reach to things that may lie beyond your area of expertise. It's been my experience that the insights gleaned from those explorations can unlock hidden potentials in the work you do and keep you on a path of growth and fulfillment.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

I love working on cross-disciplinary teams to solve problems. Being able to join my experience and creativity with that of my teammates to build software with the goal of empowering students is exceedingly rewarding.
