IT Community of Practice reunites in person at newly renovated Gray Design Building

In July, the University of Kentucky’s IT Community of Practice committee met in-person for the first time since 2020. Comprised of IT professionals from throughout the university, the committee met in the newly renovated Gray Building, formerly the Reynolds Warehouse, that houses the College of Design. 

College of Design’s Director of Technology and Facilities Joe Brewer discussed the significance of the Gray Building’s location and gave a tour of the former tobacco warehouse. Brewer highlighted the adaptive reuse throughout the building, showcasing features like the floors, pine columns and large windows.
