What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

The main service that we provide is the Teacher Course Evaluation System. Before the final exams, the student receives an email with a link to the evaluation where they can evaluate their courses and their instructors.  We’re responsible for getting the results at the end of each semester. 

What campus units do you collaborate with?

Nearly every college utilizes our Teacher Course Evaluation System. These evaluations provide opportunities for continuous improvement in the college. 

What are your workplace values?

I feel honored to be part of the UK community. The day I received the news that I got this job was one of the best days of my life. I have always loved to work in an academic environment. I love to work with people and in this position I get to serve students, faculty, and staff members. I love that we can utilize technology as part of the teaching and learning experience. 

 

I love that we embrace diversity here. I come from Guatemala, so being myself an immigrant I see firsthand the importance of diversity. I get to interact with people from so many countries and backgrounds, and it makes it very interesting for me since I love to learn from others and take their best qualities as an example. I love that my work is never a routine. I get to do and learn new things every day, and I am blessed to have such a wonderful boss and a great team. 

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

I work with a very innovative group of people, and we're constantly trying to make a difference at the University. I appreciate the dedication I see from this team, including outdoor work in frigid temperatures.
