What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

The Institutional Research and Advanced Analytics (IRAA) team is a collaborative effort between the Office of the Provost's Institutional Research team and Information Technology Services' (ITS) Advanced Analytics team. Together, we support strategic decisions and initiatives at the University. We do this by studying past trends, completing detailed analyses, delivering interactive data visualizations and dashboards, and provide official institutional data to external stakeholders.

What campus units do you collaborate with?

IRAA has the benefit of collaborating with various units across campus. This includes units in the Provost area, EVPFA, Research, and UK Healthcare. The culture of collaboration is one of my favorite aspects of our campus. One of the things I enjoy most about my current role is the opportunity to meet many skilled people across UK and bring these individuals together with our Analytics Community of Practice.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

My favorite part of working in ITS and UK is the variety of people I get to meet and work with on a daily basis. I enjoy being a part of an institution that impacts people across the Commonwealth in so many ways.
