What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

Our team provides technology support, maintenance, and upgrades in the varying types of classrooms (standard, Distance Learning, TEAL) across campus.  We also provide faculty and student support for Echo360, Zoom, and TurningPoint. 

What campus units do you collaborate with?

Our team collaborates with most college IT departments to assist in training their own Echo360 schedulers.  We consult with departments who have AV technology inquiries regarding their department owned equipment and help get them in contact with UK’s contracted AV vendors as needed.  We also work closely with the Registrar’s Classroom Scheduling office to ensure their customers are scheduled in a classroom that meets their specific technology needs.

What are your workplace values?

My goal is to provide timely, efficient, and courteous support and to understand the urgency of the situation when a customer calls with a technical issue.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

I have worked for UK for 20 years.  I enjoy being part of a team that provides new and innovative ways for instructors to deliver content to their students.   I also enjoy that every day brings different challenges and opportunities.  No two days are the same.
