What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

We support a wide variety of computer systems on campus. With technologies constantly changing, our team is called upon to be technically flexible and conscience of our customers computing needs and work flows. In addition to supporting our customer’s daily technical needs and resolving issues, some of my tasks involve building and updating various operating system images for use on campus computers. 

What campus units do you collaborate with?

We support the computing needs of many campus enterprise departments.  I’m often asked to assist other IT units on campus to implement a streamlined imaging process, as well as provide a hardware independent base image that can be used in various environments. I also work regularly with the Office of Legal Counsel assisting with the technical aspects related to E-Discovery and Open Records. 

What are your workplace values?

I’ve always appreciated working with individuals who are friendly, patient, and willing to listen to ideas and/or concerns about real-world work processes.  I try my best to be that way with individuals whom I support and collaborate.

What is your favorite part of working in ITS and UK?

I’ve meet some wonderful people throughout my years at UK. I’m very grateful to be part of a team that enjoys each other’s company and is always willing to help out and share knowledge freely to the betterment of our whole unit.
