Tech Touchbase Event Held to Help Students with iPad Basics

Transformative Learning and PresU, in collaboration with the Smart Campus team, hosted a Tech Touchbase: iPad Basics event on September 9. The event focused on helping students with their Apple ID setup and configuring their UK accounts on their iPad (e.g., Outlook, Canvas, Microsoft365).  

The event was hosted in the Presentation U: Speaking & Writing Center @ The Hub of W.T. Young Library. Students were encouraged to listen to a presentation on iPad setup and then able to meet with staff one-on-one to ask any additional questions. Staff from UK Information Technology Service’s Student Tech Help @ the Hub was also on hand to assist with UK account passwords or connecting to Wi-Fi. Smart Campus, Transformative Learning, and PresU hope to hold more events around iPads in the future, with the goal of promoting student success with their iPad.
