UK ITS launches new myUK portal

University of Kentucky Information Technology Services (UK ITS) is excited to announce that the new myUK portal is now live and available for all UK students, faculty and staff as of Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

The UK community now has access to the new portal at myuk.uky.edu.

Those with active linkblue accounts can take advantage of the newly redesigned portal, which offers an improved experience for requesting and approving time off, viewing your course schedule and much more.

Discover the latest enhancements in the new myUK portal 

• Customize your dashboard by pinning your favorite tools. Click “manage” to update your selections anytime. 

• Navigate the new myUK portal with ease using the streamlined drop-down menu and intuitive search bar. 

• Manage all of your personal information in one centralized space by using the profile drop-down to access My Profile, My Account and myDocs within the new portal. 

• Change your password or update any email settings in the myUK portal under My Account. You can update your password now in the new portal to have a never expiring password. Read more about UK’s newest password policy at UK ITS introduces non-expiring passwords for linkblue accounts. 

• Give feedback, suggestions or report an issue using the chat feature. Once logged in, the green chat box is located in the lower right corner of the landing page. 

UK ITS encourages the UK community to explore the new myUK portal and take full advantage of its features. Whether you need to view your vacation time, register for classes or manage your personal information, the new portal provides a user-friendly and efficient experience.
