Apple Releases Security Updates for Multiple Products

Apple has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in multiple products. An attacker could exploit some of these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.  CISA encourages users and administrators to review the Apple security pages for the following products and apply the necessary updates.

ITS Website Gets New Look

Information Technology Services (ITS) has launched a revamped website at its.uky.edu. With the launch of this new website, customers can now see a new look and feel for ITS content, including the latest ITS news, events, and more. Customers can still find commonly used services under the "Quick Links" section on the homepage and utilize the Tech Help Center search bar to find technology articles.

Drupal Releases Security Updates

Google has released Chrome version 97.0.4692.99 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. This version addresses vulnerabilities that an attacker could exploit to take control of an affected system. CISA encourages users and administrators to review the Chrome Release Note and apply the necessary update as soon as possible.

Outlook Recommended for UK Microsoft 365 Email

Starting Wednesday, February 2, any customer using third-party email applications (e.g., older versions of Apple Mail, Thunderbird) with Basic Authentication protocols will experience issues accessing their UK Microsoft 365 email account.
