Duo Prompt Appearance Changing July 26

After July 26, students, faculty, and staff will notice a change in appearance to the Duo prompt when logging in to UK resources with Two-Factor Log-In.

Cybersecurity Notification | Fake Microsoft Defender Pop-Up

UK ITS would like to inform students, faculty, and staff of a known scam that impersonates a Microsoft support page. The scam appears after clicking a malicious link currently hosted on external websites that then directs the recipient to a fake Windows Defender Security Center page that urges calling a security helpline.

UK ITS Releasing Phishing Simulation

In the coming weeks, UK students, faculty, and staff will be receiving a fake or simulated phishing attack as part of UK Information Technology Services (UK ITS) efforts to enhance its cybersecurity preparedness.

University of Kentucky Hosts Successful Knowledge Exchange with Air Force Institute of Technology and Air University

UK Information Technology Services (UK ITS) Enterprise Applications team recently hosted a full-day reference site visit, welcoming participants from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and Air University (AU). The event, held on May 23, 2023, in the Hardymon Windstream Conference Room, aimed to facilitate a knowledge exchange on SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLCM), SAP-Canvas Data Integrations, and Data Analytics. 

Mozilla Releases Security Advisories for Multiple Products

Mozilla has released security updates to address vulnerabilities for Firefox 114 and Firefox ESR 102.12. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.
