Within the Office of the CIO, the Administration, Finance, & Human Resources teams ensure efficient operations for ITS and how we service the enterprise


The Finance team is responsible for preparing and managing the budget for Information Technology Services.  This team is responsible for processing the day to day financial transactions, payables and receivables, within different sources of funds (General Fund, Student Tech Fee, Distance Learning Fee, Service Center, Grants and other small sources of revenue). The Finance team strives for excellence in customer service, promptness and accuracy in all financial transactions and continuous improvement to ensure that all needed technology is available to students, faculty and staff to succeed at the University of Kentucky.


Vendor Management

The Vendor Management Office (VMO) is charged with Vendor Relationship Management, Vendor Performance Management, Vendor Risk Management, Contract Management, and the operation of the IT Service Center's Inventory Warehouse.  The ITS VMO focuses on value generation through vendor selection, negotiation, and collaboration.


Human Resources

The HR team maintains complete and accurate information about employees to ensure timely payment of compensation, develop career paths, and provide professional development opportunities through the use of enterprise-wide systems. The HR team supports the functional operations of these systems to accomplish the goals and objectives of Human Resources. They provide on-demand access to web-based training and classroom training for employees, provide on-line enrollment for employee benefit plans, and maintain employee personnel, time, and organizational data.
